and they will allow the public to witness this as it progresses.
With their new freedom as a charity, independent of any government, their ability to engage with millions of people is now greatly strengthened. They have identified four major priorities going forward and they are: - Inspiration, Conservation, Involvement and Financial Sustainability.
They want to create an inspiring visitor experiences that brings the story of England to life. They will also make sure our historic sites and artefacts are expertly cared for, so that they can be enjoyed by future generations. They will find new ways to involve more people in their work and their target is to ensure they are financially independent by 2022/23.
