Hello, looking for some advice please as I recently bought a VW Crafter to convert.
Today when stripping the van down and attempting to remove the floor, it is absolutely glued down stuck!! No matter how much force we try, it will not lift up. You can see where the adhesive has been applied, and it is a strip down the centre of the plywood running down the van.
Without feeling like I am going to cause damage to the van, I don't see how I am going to remove it. So my question is, how neccesary is it to get this plywood up, so that I can insulate underneath? Or, would it be worth leaving this plywood down, and putting down a thinner piece of insulation over the top? I wouldn't be able to do the 30mm insulation which I had originally planned, as I will lose too much headroom. But I could still apply 'some' insulation down. Or would you just leave it completely as it is? And put vinyl over the top, and the double plywood that is already down, may provide some insulation anyway.
Any responses are very much appreciated and well received.
Thank you in advance
