Order of Conversion

So I have jus bought my van to convert. I am itching to get things underway, the process will be slightly intermittent because I will also be renovating a house from it.

I would like to get the van insulated and plied first. It already has one solar panel which I haven't yet had chance to look at and get my head around. but my question is, do people put in a split charge relay and electrics before boarding it all or after?

I would like to board the van first for afew reasons

1. Then I can use it as soon as possible and have spend time in it before making other decisions, like where to put lights etc

2. I think any cables that are run need to be accessible i.e. outside of the boarding

3. I am still not yet certain I will bother with a split charge relay

   
   

   So what order have other people converted in? Have you done the electrics before boarding or the other way around?
