Hi All
I have a 2010 Adria Twin which is a Fiat Ducato Multijet 100. Anyway, we left a site the other morning and then stopped for diesel about 10 miles down the road. Got the diesel okay, but then the van wouldn't start due to a flat battery!? Got a jump start and it fired up instantly and we drove 50 miles home with no issue.
I parked it on the drive and went back to it 10 minutes later and it span over fine and fired straight up and has done the same when tested over the next few days.
The only thing I can think of is I actually remembered to switch the fridge on to 12v for once, although I have done this before. When we got it jump started i turned the 12v off on the fridge and on the panel.
So it does seem to point to the fridge being on causing this, but surely there is a split charge relay to stop this happening? If the relay was faulty could it cause this? I'm happy to replace it as a process of elimination. Anyone ever heard of this happening?
Thoughts?
TIA...
