This Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB MANUAL 5 speed Racevan/Campervan is a great option for those looking for a reliable and spacious vehicle for their camping and/or racetrack needs. With a sleeping capacity of three adults or the option of two adults + two children (no having to make and dismantle their bed every morning/night!) this campervan is perfect for small families or a group of friends going track racing, since it has a large rear garage designed to take 2 x MX motorbikes.
The Racevan/Campervan has done 183k miles, the engine has been regularly serviced and a new turbo fitted recently, so starts first time and runs very well indeed.
It comes with a Zig controller installed that manages the charge of the 2 x 95ah leisure batteries stored under the seats. It also has 240v mains electric site hookup. There is also an android radio/cassette, dashcam and reversing camera.
The van has been completed in white paint, there are some expected age related marks and blemishes.
Internally it has sofa seating area that pulls and folds out into a double bed. There is also a large fixed single bed over a large garage designed for motorbikes but currently houses a collapsible electric bike and 2500 kw generator (available as extras). By using the petrol generator to top up the two leisure batteries this van can stay off grid or use non-electric pitches for many days on end. A greener solution would obviously be to fit a large solar array on its huge roof area (only one vent). We were about to do this but have now already down-sized to a VW Transporter campervan largely due to our medical/mobility issues.
There is a side wind-out Fiamma awning with fitted safari tent that provides a weatherproof space of some 144 square feet, either to extend habitation space or service motorbikes etc.
There is 12v internal LED lighting; 2 x LCD televisions (one has 12 volt option) and an 800kw microwave. It has a kitchen area with a Dometic SMEV 9222 combination 2 Burner Hob & Sink Unit.
The Racevan/Campervan has been fully insulated and finished in grey auto/camper acoustic velour lining with custom leather-look furnishings. The rear bed has bespoke black out curtains. There are black out blinds and tinted privacy glass on side windows. There are interior thermal covers for the windscreen and cab side windows. There are three seat-belted cab chairs, including the driver’s.

The Race/Campervan has covered most of the UK and is a solid and reliable runner, good on fuel. There are 2 x ignition keys and owner manuals etc. The V5 is present, it is currently taxed and the MOT expires 13 APR 2026.
